Il est question de ne plus exiger un IR-ME valide pour entrer en premier stage QT. Un IR-ME échu suffira. C’est une raison de plus pour ne maintenir son ATPL théorique en état de validité qu’avec un IR-SE non pas un couteux IR-ME.
NPA 2014-29 (A)(…) The amendment to FCL.720.A(d)(2) represents an alleviation of the existing requirement. So far it was required that before starting the training course for the first MPA type rating, a pilot had either to be a student of an MPL course or hold amongst others a multi-engine IR(A). To this text, the wording ‘or have held’ was added. The considerations behind this addition were that a MPA skill test includes always an ME IR test and thus it is not necessary to actually hold the IR when the course starts.
